ABOUT

Milo Harris is a multimedia artist, graphic designer, and craftsman. Their work takes inspiration from processes of distortion, fossilization, and metamorphosis. Milo is particularly interested in the ways that these mechanisms alter and define the formation of landscapes, digital realms, and physical bodies.

Milo’s recent work stretches across mediums, prioritizing collaboration and site specificity. Recent shows include Surface Tension (2024), a collaborative installation show with creative partner Carmen MC Vigilante at the Horse Room Gallery in Worcester, MA, and Mixotricha: Death of the Author (2024), a group show held at the Rebus Cathedral in Providence, RI. In 2023, Milo served as Art Department Production Assistant for upcoming feature film Chosen Family, directed by Heather Graham. Earlier this year, Milo was lead designer, illustrator, and editor for a 150 page scientific field guide titled “Woody Plants of the Woonasquatucket,” scheduled for publication in early 2025.

Milo graduated from Brown University in 2022, earning a double major in Visual Art and Science, Technology, and Society, white taking additional coursework at the Rhode Island School of Design. They grew up in San Francisco, and are currently based in Oakland, California.
